Conductive and Inductive Interferences of 25kV Railway Traction Power System on Train Signalling System – A Case Study

This paper presents a case study of the impacts of 25kV traction power system on railway signalling system using copper cables as communication links. Several forms of interferences including electromagnetic including and conductive have been investigated and remedial measures implemented, with satisfactory results.
